Sash Plug makes personalised sashes for the days people work toward — graduations, matriculations and school ceremonies across Ghana. You choose the design and set what it says. We make it to order in Accra and send it to you.
What Sash Plug is
A sash shop with no shelf. Nothing is made until somebody orders it, because every sash carries someone’s own name, programme or crest and belongs to one person from the moment it is cut.
It works in two steps. The sash designs hold 19 patterns to start from, each a complete arrangement of cloth, stripes, accents and borders rather than a flat colour. The Studio is where you make one yours: set the text, place a logo or a crest, choose the thread, and see the finished sash on screen before you pay for it. Then it is stitched in Accra and delivered anywhere in Ghana.
Not only graduation
Graduation is what most people come for, and it is not the whole of it. A sash marks an occasion, and the occasions are not confined to one kind of school or one end of an education.
Speech days, graduations and end-of-year ceremonies, down to the youngest classes leaving a school behind.
Nursing colleges, Colleges of Education and the professional programmes whose ceremonies deserve the same care.
Matriculation and graduation take the same sash, made for different days — and so do award ceremonies, inductions, church and association events, and anything else worth marking.

The customisation is the product. Both ends of the sash carry two areas each — four in all — and any of them takes your own words, a logo, a crest, or an image you upload. Text can be a name or a full line of programme and year. Thread comes in 6 colours — white, gold, black, red, green and blue — and lettering can be upright or italic.
Nothing is guessed at on your behalf. The Studio draws what you have asked for at the size it will be stitched, and tells you when a line is too long for the space it has to sit in, so what you approve is what arrives. Open the Studio and try it.
How a sash is made
The pattern runs through the cloth itself rather than being printed onto it, which is why the stripes hold their colour and their edges. Your words, logos and crests are then embroidered onto that cloth — real thread, not transfer — and the sash is finished and checked before it is packed.
Where an occasion calls for genuine hand-woven kente rather than our standard cloth, we can source and make it to order. It costs more than a standard sash and is arranged directly rather than through the Studio, so ask us and we will quote you.
Production takes at least ten working days from payment, plus delivery. That is the honest number rather than the flattering one: a sash is embroidered once, and it is better to have the time than to hurry a name.
Made in Accra, delivered across Ghana
Every sash is made in one workshop in Accra. There is no branch anywhere else, and no shop to travel to — the Studio is the counter, and the order comes to you. Deliveries reach Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Tamale and everywhere between, and anywhere outside Accra takes a little longer to arrive than a delivery in the city.
Payment is by mobile money or card, handled on Paystack’s own secure page. Prices start at GHS 90 per sash and are shown in the Studio before you pay. The FAQ covers timing, delivery and group orders.
